Episode 44: Speed Bump

The one and only Mothership has touched down again for another jam packed episode of the Superpodcast!  Joining The Great Brian Last this week in the co-host chair is John McAdam.  Featured this week:

– Part three of our talk with Richard Vicek about the history of the Chicago Wrestling Club.  We listen to and discuss rare audio, including interviews from Bill Watts, Ray Stevens, a young Dusty Rhodes, Larry Hennig and more!

– We pay tribute to the late Don Bass, who just recently passed away.  Jim Cornette joins the show again to discuss his memories of working with Don.  Also, Don’s longtime tag team partner and friend Roger Smith (The Assassin, Dirty Rhodes) discusses Don’s recent battle with cancer and shares some warm memories of his fallen friend.

– John Arezzi tells us about the secret to getting ringside tickets to Madison Square Garden in the 1970’s, as well as the fan scene around the Garden.  We also hear a humorous story of John’s night out with Andre The Giant & Mr. Fuji.
